And that’s why we are currently recruiting for a number of full and part-time roles, both Fee Earners and Assistants, to join our Conveyancing Team.

Our award-winning conveyancing team helps people to move home quickly and efficiently and we need to recruit people to support the demand for our services. People who have a real eye for detail and enjoy working with technology based systems.
We are a friendly bunch of people who really want to do the best for our clients, our department is put together with a Fee Earner and Assistant working as a team, so each of you will always feel supported by your colleague, your drive as a team player is essential.
So, if you are currently working in Conveyancing supported by a case management system or you have done so previously we are interested in talking to you. You might be working towards CLC or ILEX qualifications or indeed be qualified by experience.
We are looking for Fee Earners competent at managing their own files and completions.
Our systems and processes are constantly evolving helping us to provide an efficient service to our clients, so applicants must embrace this way of working.

The ideal candidate will be a fee earner with experience of working on residential leasehold property transactions. You must be able manage your own case load of purchases and sales, supported by a case management system or you have done so previously we are interested in talking to you. This role is 35 hours working in our Mansfield office Monday to Friday.

Are you the right person for the job?

A unique opportunity has arisen for a HR Advisor to join our award winning law firm with 2 offices in the heart of North Nottinghamshire. In this role you will be proactive in providing internal HR support to the Heads of Department and assistance to staff at all levels within the firm.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and confident communicator who is organised, able to progress projects that ensure the HR function supports the evolving needs of the firm, and can meet deadlines. We have a number of IT based systems to support the role in which training will be provided and the successful candidate will work closely under the direction and guidance of the Managing Partner and the People and Operations Manager.

Interested applicants will be experienced in advising and supporting Heads of Departments on HR matters including:

• Disciplinary and Grievance

• Performance Management/Training & Development

• Absence Management/Attendance Monitoring

• Recruitment & Selection

• Policy & Procedure review and development

To carry out this role you will have a minimum 2 years experience as a HR practitioner and may be a graduate member of the CIPD. With experience of dealing with a wide range of HR issues, you are now looking to build on this experience.

Receptionist - Part time - Click here to read more

Are you the perfect person for us?

We are currently looking for a well presented, outgoing, customer service focused receptionist and switchboard operator to join our Mansfield reception team.
Previous experience as a receptionist would be an advantage, but training will be given on all systems. You will need to have an excellent telephone manner as well as a professional approach to the role.
It will be important that you are IT literate and are confident with administration tasks as you may be asked to complete basic admin tasks to support the office.

 

Key duties of the role

You will be meeting and greeting clients as they attend this busy office, along with arranging appointments for other members of the team, dealing with queries, taking bill payments, answering the telephone. You may also be expected to help with other admin duties as and when required. You will be the first port of call either by telephone or face to face with clients.

Key Duties

We are looking for a confident communicator with a willingness to learn who has excellent customer service skills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing customer calls, providing conveyancing quotes, follow up sales calls and will provide administrative support which includes opening files on our database and producing the initial paperwork for all new clients. Previous sales and admin experience is desirable.

Are you the right person for us?

Here at Fidler & Pepper we pride ourselves on being able to give opportunities to train and grow people. This is an excellent opportunity for a person to join our in house IT department and develop and grow within this role. You will be expected within this role to have a can do attitude and a willingness to take on any tasks given to you to help support the firm from an IT and technology perspective. To help support our current IT team you must have a keen interest in IT and a good understanding of systems, although you will be fully trained on our bespoke systems. The ideal person will be someone who is a great problem solver and is happiest when busy doing this.
You will need to be confident in your abilities and willing to learn and develop.
The right person will be required to:
• Give day to day hardware & software support
• Answering calls support calls
• Troubleshooting peripheral & device issues - printers / phones / keyboards / mice
• Troubleshooting software issues - MS Office, Windows, Dictation, case management
• To assist in updates, upgrades in both hardware & software across the network/sites
• Ordering new equipment
• Possibly helping with office move around in terms of equipment.
You will be based at our Sutton in Ashfield office, but you will be expected to travel to our Mansfield office. Own transport would be desirable for ease. Any travel made on company business would be reimbursed. This role is 35 hours, Monday to Friday. As this is an apprenticeship role you will be training on a specific NVQ in IT through Positive Outcomes, this will be delivered in house by one of their assessors.
