So, if you are currently working in Conveyancing supported by a case management system or you have done so previously we are interested in talking to you. You might be working towards CLC or ILEX qualifications or indeed be qualified by experience.
We are looking for Fee Earners competent at managing their own files and completions.
Our systems and processes are constantly evolving helping us to provide an efficient service to our clients, so applicants must embrace this way of working.

Here at Fidler & Pepper we have a growing and innovative Private Client Department.
We are currently looking for an Estate Accounts Clerk to join this busy friendly team based at our Sutton in Ashfield office. We are a friendly bunch of people who really want to do the best for our clients and our systems and processes are constantly evolving helping us to do this, so applicants must embrace this way of working
 

Is this the role for you?

Day to day the right person will be dealing with estate tax matters of deceased individuals working closely with our probate team.
Some key aspects of the role are:

• Analyse and complete and file tax returns (including Income Tax, Capital Gains, and Inheritance where appropriate), including trust returns, estate administration returns, both informal and formal.
• Analyse estate administration cases and complete estate accounts.
• Analyse and complete and file inheritance tax forms as part of the Grant of Representation process, including IHT205, and the IHT400 series including transfer of unused nil rate band.
• Generally assist with case work relating specifically (but not exclusively) to Probate and Trusts
• General office support, including support in client meetings and office cover for calls and drop in meetings.
• General administrative duties.
 

Are you the person for us?

Essential elements for the role are that you have experience working within tax and accounts, strong Math’s and English skills ( Grade C or above GCSE or equivalent). We are looking for a good communicator and team player, along with being approachable for clients and colleagues. It would be desirable for you to have STEP (Society of trust estate practitioners) qualification or AAT qualification would be advantageous. These are not essential requirements for the role.

A unique opportunity has arisen for a HR Advisor to join our award winning law firm with 2 offices in the heart of North Nottinghamshire. In this role you will be proactive in providing internal HR support to the Heads of Department and assistance to staff at all levels within the firm.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and confident communicator who is organised, able to progress projects that ensure the HR function supports the evolving needs of the firm, and can meet deadlines. We have a number of IT based systems to support the role in which training will be provided and the successful candidate will work closely under the direction and guidance of the Managing Partner and the People and Operations Manager.

Interested applicants will be experienced in advising and supporting Heads of Departments on HR matters including:

• Disciplinary and Grievance

• Performance Management/Training & Development

• Absence Management/Attendance Monitoring

• Recruitment & Selection

• Policy & Procedure review and development

Are you the perfect person for us?

We are currently looking for a well presented, outgoing, customer service focused receptionist and switchboard operator to join our Mansfield reception team.
Previous experience as a receptionist would be an advantage, but training will be given on all systems. You will need to have an excellent telephone manner as well as a professional approach to the role.
It will be important that you are IT literate and are confident with administration tasks as you may be asked to complete basic admin tasks to support the office.

 

Key duties of the role

You will be meeting and greeting clients as they attend this busy office, along with arranging appointments for other members of the team, dealing with queries, taking bill payments, answering the telephone. You may also be expected to help with other admin duties as and when required. You will be the first port of call either by telephone or face to face with clients.

Key Duties

We are looking for a confident communicator with a willingness to learn who has excellent customer service skills.
