Creating a great place to work
You may be wondering what life at Fidler is like, well we can tell you it’s about…
Communication
Spread across four offices and with increasing hybrid and remote working, our communication needs to be strong, informative, and two-way. We encourage this through Newsletters, Team meetings, fluid and agile 1:1 Rainbow Reviews, Open Door Drop in Clinics or Company-wide briefings and conferences. We strive to keep communication channels free flowing, open and adaptable to that moment in time.
Individuals
Treating every employee as an individual is at the heart of F&P. It’s easy to try to seek the ‘right solution’ to issues faced in managing employees but that ‘right’ solution doesn’t always accommodate individual needs. The cornerstone of how we work is through frameworks that combine the business need with the individual’s needs and ambitions. By doing this we create a working environment where every individual can apply the best version of themselves to their time at work.
Training and Personal Development
It’s so important that every employee is given the support time to learn and develop, it may be compliance training, it could be personal development or it might be providing the support to pursue professional qualifications. Whether you join Fidler & Pepper on an Apprenticeship or you are a long serving employee wishing to pursue a qualification or update your knowledge, we will support your development. This could be through professional qualifications, entry or higher apprenticeships or stand-alone webinars to find the learning method that is right for you. Every employee is encouraged and supported to identify and pursue their ongoing development.
Career of Choice
We want everyone who works with us to feel that they are able to develop their career of choice, whether that be to progress and build a strong career pathway with us or to enhance your knowledge and skills to ensure you are doing your current job to the very best of your ability. This is your career of choice.
Physical Space
Across our 4 offices, we want to make sure that everyone feels they have a place where they belong. This is why, even as we expand our opportunities for hybrid and remote working, we also make sure that everyone has their own area of work with dual screens for ease of working. We are also very proud of our dedicated Learning and Personal Development Suite with Quiet Space and ‘Time to Talk’ Room, somewhere for everyone across the company to enjoy space for training, learning or discussion.
